The development history of photovoltaic power generation
Apr 20, 2018

As early as in 1839, French scientist Beck Lehr (Becqurel) discovered that light can produce potential difference between different parts of semiconductor material. This phenomenon is later called "photovoltaic volt effect", or "photovoltaic effect". In 1954, American scientist Charles and Pilson made the first practical monocrystalline silicon solar cell at the Baer laboratory in the United States, which gave birth to a practical photovoltaic technology that converts solar energy into electrical energy.

After the 1970s, with the development of modern industry, the global energy crisis and air pollution problems are becoming more and more prominent, the traditional fuel energy is decreasing day by day, and the harm to the environment is becoming more and more serious. At the same time, about 2 billion people in the world can not get the normal energy supply. At this time, the world has turned its eyes on renewable energy. It is hoped that renewable energy can change the energy structure of human beings and maintain long-term sustainable development. Solar energy has become the focus of people's attention with its unique advantages.
